Summary of Double-Blind
Placebo Controlled Clinical Trial

The effectiveness of HealthéTrim in facilitating weight loss was assessed in a 30-day, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial.

The clinical trial was conducted from May to June 2009 with 60 participants, 19 males and 41 females, between the ages of 18-65 with a starting Body Mass  Index (“BMI”)  ranging from 25 to 35.  The study was conducted with participants taking one capsule, twice daily, with half the participants taking a placebo, while the other 30 participants were given HealthéTrim.  Participants did not know whether they were taking the placebo or an actual capsule of HealthéTrim.  In an effort to isolate and assess the effects of HealthéTrim specifically, participants chosen were either historically sedentary or moderately active and were asked to not increase their level of exercise during the length of the study.  Additionally, participants were asked not to change their daily eating regimen.

The results of the clinical study conclusively show that the participants taking two capsules of HealthéTrim daily displayed a statistically significant increase in weight loss over the participants taking the placebos.  The participants taking HealthéTrim lost an average of 2.43 pounds over the course of 30 days, with a maximum weight loss achieved of 7.2 pounds.  Greater weight loss was, in fact, achieved by at least one participant; however, the results for that participant were excluded due to a significant increase in the participant’s exercise over the course of the study.

It is important to note that the weight loss achieved by the participants in the clinical study was achieved while taking just two capsules daily and participating in, at most, nothing more than moderate exercise.  For best results, it is recommended that HealthéTrim be taken while exercising regularly and in conjunction with a healthy diet.
